The 8th Convocation of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology (MGUMST), Jaipur was held with great pride and academic splendour over two days, 23rd and 24th December 2025, at the prestigious R. L. Swarankar Auditorium, MGUMST, Jaipur.
Day 1 – 23rd December 2025
The ceremony on the first day was graced by Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Department of Industries & Commerce, Information Technology & Communications, Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Rajasthan, and Distinguished Olympian & Olympic Medallist, as the Chief Guest.
His inspiring address motivated the graduands to uphold professional excellence, integrity, and national service in their respective medical and healthcare careers.
Day 2 – 24th December 2025
The second day of the Convocation witnessed the esteemed presence of:
- Ghanshyam Tiwari, Hon’ble Member of Rajya Sabha, Parliament of India as Chief Guest
- Manju Sharma, Hon’ble Member of Lok Sabha, Parliament of India as Guest of Honour
Their gracious presence added dignity and national significance to the occasion, as they extended their blessings and congratulated the graduating students.
Both days were graced by the presence of Dr. M. L. Swarankar, the Founder and Emeritus Chairperson of MGUMST senior members of the India Education Trust, members of the Board of Management, members of the Academic Council, and other distinguished guests who extended their blessings and best wishes to the graduands and attendees.
The Convocation was presided over by Dr. Vikas Chandra Swarankar, Chairperson- cum- Chancellor of MGUMST.
A total of 834 degrees were conferred, including 19 doctoral degrees and 49 DM/M.Ch. degrees. Additionally, 30 students received medals and 3 students received certificates of merit in recognition of their outstanding achievements in academics and other fields.
The ceremony commenced with a formal Convocation Procession featuring the Chief Guests, Guests of Honour, Founder and Emeritus Chairperson, Members of the Academic Council, members of the Board of Management, and other university officials. The event was attended by a distinguished audience comprising dignitaries, graduands and their proud families, Principals, Heads of Departments, and Senior University Officials, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of MGUMST's students.
The 8th Convocation stands as a testament to MGUMST’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, professional integrity, and the advancement of medical sciences in service of society and the nation.
