OPD
The Surgical Gastroenterology Outpatient Department (OPD) is a specialized unit dedicated to the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of diseases related to the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system that may require surgical intervention.
This OPD caters to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions including disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, liver diseases, gallbladder and bile duct conditions, pancreatic disorders, and colorectal diseases.
Patients are assessed through detailed clinical examination, review of previous medical records, and necessary diagnostic investigations such as endoscopy, imaging studies, and laboratory tests. Based on evaluation, patients are managed conservatively or advised surgical intervention when indicated.
