High Risk Pregnancy & Labor Management
  • There is a dedicated maternity wing with pre-labour & labour rooms, equipped with CTG machine for continuous monitoring of the fetal heart during labour. The labour ward complex has an exclusive operation theatre for the department, with 24x7 on-floor gynaecologists, anaesthetist & neonatologists.
  • "Painless Labour" (epidural analgesia in labour) by a team of our expert anaesthetists and obstetricians is offered to desirous patients. There is a separate room for eclampsia patients. Facility for fetal Doppler sonography is also available. The labour complex is immediately in proximity to our tertiary level Neonatal intensive care unit.
  • The hospital provides government funded “Janani Suraksha Yojana & Shubh Laxmi Yojana” as a result of which patients get financial assistance for the hospital deliveries.
  • Daily antenatal clinics are conducted with in house facilities for entire range of investigations required during pregnancy.
Infertility Clinic
  • This there is a full-fledged state-of-art IVF centre for ART, ICSI for patients who fail to conceive by other treatments.

Male Infertility Clinic

There is a male infertility clinic where all procedures like PESA, TESA also performed. Microsurgery for tubal recanalization is done.

Genetics Department

There is an outpatient’s clinic everyday by geneticists for genetic counselling and investigations for patients with previous bad obstetric history, elderly patients wishing to conceive or patients with family history of genetic abnormalities.

Cancer Clinic

Preventive oncology screening is conducted including mammography for breast cancer, pap smear & biopsy for cervix cancer, ultrasonography for ovarian cancer & endometrial Biopsy for endometrial cancer. Pap smear, Colposcopy & VIA are routinely done in the out patients clinic. All gynaecology surgeries for the above cancers for example Wertheim’s hysterectomy and vulvectomy are performed in the hospital.

Menopausal Clinic

Menopause clinics are conducted in the out patients clinic & screening facilities for cancer screening mammography, colposcopy and ultrasonography for breast cancer, cervical cancer, Uterine and ovarian cancer respectively are available. Screening for cardiovascular diseases in menopause are done by qualified cardiologists.

Family Planning Clinic

Counselling for contraception, insertion of intra uterine contraceptive devices & sterilisation operations are done. Sterilisation operations are done free of cost.

Advanced Robotic Assisted Gyanecology Surgeries

Our department is offering wide range of minimally of multiple fibroid, complex endometriosis surgery, early stage uterine cancers, benign ovarian cyst, management of complex mullarian anomally, tubal recannalization cervical cercilage (TAC) etc. We also offfer comprehensive management for most of gynaecological problem under on roof.

Mobile and Free Cancer Screening and Medical Consultation Camps

Multi-Specialty Free Medical Consultation Camp under “Cancer Screening Mobile Unit” is being organized regularly at various places. A team of experienced specialists including gynaecologist from Mahatma Gandhi Hospital provide consultation and treatment services to the patients. During the camp, several important diagnostic services are provided free of cost, including Mammography, Chest X-ray, Pap Smear, Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, and ECG. Free medicines were also distributed to needy patients.
