Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure in MBBS, MD/MS, and DM/MCh admissions in our college are based on NEET-UG, NEET-PG, and NEET-SS scores respectively, followed by merit-based counselling.
MBBS Programme: Selection Procedure & Admission to the MBBS course shall be based on

Admission to the MBBS programme is conducted strictly in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), and the Rajasthan State NEET UG Counselling Board. Candidates must qualify in the NEET-UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the relevant academic year. Following the announcement of NEET-UG results, candidates are required to participate in the centralised counselling process conducted either by the MCC (for All India Quota seats) or by the Rajasthan State NEET UG Counselling Board (for State Quota seats). Seat allotment is made on the basis of merit, category, and choice filled by the candidates. Once allotted, candidates must report to the institution within the stipulated time to complete the admission formalities, including document verification, fee payment, and medical examination.

MD/MS Programmes: Selection Procedure & Admission to the MD/MS course shall be based on

Admission to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) programmes is governed by the guidelines of the NMC, MCC, and the Rajasthan State NEET PG Counselling Board. Eligible candidates must appear in the NEET-PG examination conducted by the NBE. Based on the NEET-PG rank, candidates must participate in either the MCC counselling (All India Quota) or the Rajasthan State NEET PG counselling (State Quota). Seat allocation depends on merit, specialisation preferences, and reservation norms. Selected candidates are required to report to the university/college for document verification, submission of original certificates, payment of prescribed fees, and completion of joining formalities.

DM/M.Ch. Programmes: Selection Procedure & Admission to the DM/M.Ch. course shall be based on

Super-specialty courses (DM/M.Ch.) follow the admission process prescribed by the NMC and MCC through NEET-SS conducted by the NBE. Candidates must obtain the qualifying percentile in NEET-SS in the concerned specialty. Counselling and seat allocation are handled centrally by the MCC. The allotment is strictly merit-based as per the NEET-SS rank and preference of candidates. Admitted students must fulfil all requirements such as verification of credentials, payment of course fees, and compliance with eligibility norms before joining.

OTHER UNIVERSITY RUN COURSES

Admissions shall be made through written MGUMST entrance examination and counselling.

M.Phil. (Clinical Psychology):

Eligibility – M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology/Clinical Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is essential.

Admission to the M.Phil. and M.Phil. (Clinical Psychology) programmes is based on the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and the university’s regulations. Candidates must appear in the university entrance examination or other qualifying examinations as specified. The selection is merit-based, considering the entrance score, qualifying examination marks, and performance in the interview, if applicable. Shortlisted candidates must submit the required documents, pay the admission fees, and complete enrolment procedures within the notified time.

M.Sc. (Medical) & eligibility:

At least 50% marks in the aggregate of respective above qualifying examinations.

Admission to these postgraduate programmes requires candidates to fulfil the eligibility norms laid down by the university. Selection is made either through merit in the qualifying examination or through an entrance examination conducted by the university, depending on the course and seat availability. The merit list is prepared based on academic performance and/or entrance exam scores. Selected candidates must complete the admission formalities, including submission of documents, payment of the prescribed fee, and verification of eligibility.

M.Sc. (Clinical Psychology):

Eligibility: B.Sc. Clinical Psychology OR B.A. /B.Sc. with Psychology subject OR B.A. / B.Sc. (Hons.) Psychology with at least 50% marks in the aggregate

Postgraduate Certificate Courses

Post Graduate Certificate Course PGCC (Eligibility – MBBS)

Admission to PG Certificate Courses is open to candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed for the respective programmes. Selection is generally on a first-come, first-served or merit basis, depending on the number of applicants and seat availability. Applicants must submit the application form with all necessary documents and pay the required course fees. Admission will be confirmed only after verification of credentials and compliance with all university admission requirements.

Fill the admission application form and upload the following required documents in PDF format (maximum 1 MB size) for successful submission of admission application form.
  • Marks sheet/Certificate of the Secondary Examination (10th Class) showing date of birth.
  • Marks sheet of 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or its equivalent Examination.
  • Marks sheet of qualifying examination, as applicable (as mentioned in the "eligibility" column of this notification)
  • Valid Certificate for Reservation Category (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL etc.), if applicable.
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Disability Certificate, if applicable.
  • No objection certificate/permission from the present employer for the applied regular full-time program (for in service candidate only).

  • Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture, against a light-coloured (preferably white) background.
  • If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable.
  • Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
  • Size of file should be between 25kb – 100kb.
Signature
  • For Signature, the applicant has to sign on white paper with Blue Gel/Ink pen. The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
  • Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
  • Sze of file should be between 10kb – 50kb.

The image should be properly cropped. The image should be in jpg/jpeg format. In case the face in the photograph or signature is unclear, the candidate's application may be rejected.
