  • Served with heart and soul from 1982 in medical education department and retired in March 2021.
  • Anticipated the severity of COVID-19 pandemic well in time and took proactive actions and strategies to deal with the situation.
  • Guided in setting up many molecular laboratories were established in SMS, scaling up the capacity for COVID testing from 100 to 10000 per day.
  • Guided in Molecular laboratories establishment in RUHS and various districts of Rajasthan.
  • During the pandemic, when the whole state was looking up towards SMS as she stood up to their expectations for all type of assistance and quality assurance.
  • Guided in carrying out quality checking of various kits and established poor quality of a rapid antibody kit which was then rejected at nation level.
  • Upgraded the department of Microbiology in S.M.S. Jaipur as ICMR center for kit validation and quality check center for kits for Rajasthan.
  • As PG teaching in-charge she upgraded PG Teaching in the department so as no PG seat went vacant in SMS when other colleges had nil PG candidates. She has been involved in various research activities.
  • Worked as the Additional Director RSACS.
  • As director of HIV Test laboratory was able to get first laboratory NABL accreditation in Rajasthan Government.
  • The first one in Rajasthan to carry out Gene Sequencing of HIV for drug resistance.
  • Actively involved in various students, educational, cultural and other extracurricular activities.
  • Actively involved in organizing conferences, chairing sessions and as speaker.
  • Recognized in way of awards and commendations by many government, non-government, social and public platforms for untiring efforts and contributing to serve the Mankind.
