Yes. Clinical training is a core strength of the institution.

Students train at the attached Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, a private multispecialty teaching hospital with approximately 1,450 beds and coverage across 50+ specialities.

Students gain hands-on experience by working with experienced faculty and managing a diverse patient population in an environment that includes modern operation theatres, intensive care units, laboratories and speciality departments.

The hospital holds NABH and NABL accreditation and achieved JCI accreditation in 2025, making it the first Academic Medical Centre in India to do so. This reflects the quality standards of the clinical training environment.

Medical students have access to:

  • Central Library – Dr. K.D. Gupta Knowledge Resource Centre: Established in 2000, with 65+ computer nodes, an e-library and internet access. The library is open from 6:00 AM to midnight and is automated through KOHA open-source library software. It houses a collection of books and national and international print journals.
  • Modern Classrooms: Smart, air-conditioned lecture halls with audiovisual and 3D projection equipment, along with ICT-enabled demonstration rooms, seminar rooms and departmental laboratories.
  • Laboratories: Fully equipped practical laboratories with modern instruments, mannequins and automated equipment.
  • Skills Lab: Provides simulation-based training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Paediatric BLS, Basic Clinical Skills and Advanced Airway Management.
  • Computer Assisted Lab (CAL)
  • Hostel Facilities: Separate boys' and girls' hostels with twin-sharing rooms furnished with beds, wardrobes and study tables. Residential facilities are also available for interns, PG residents, nurses and faculty members.
