A Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) is a doctoral research degree and the highest level of academic qualification. A Ph.D. degree normally takes between three and four years of full-time work to complete the research work.
Ph.D. course duration is 3 – 5 years. Ph.D. degree requirements is to have a master's degree or an M.Phil with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. Ph.D. admission is based on Ph.D. entrance exams and through CSIR, UGC NET exams. Ph.D. course involves engaging in in-depth research along with a thorough understanding of research issues and the ability to solve key problems with exceptional analytical and observational skills.
