Course Overview

Nuclear Medicine Technology professionals are vital pillars in modern healthcare, wielding the power of radioactive materials to illuminate the human body's inner workings for diagnosis and therapy. Their expertise lies in the meticulous preparation and precise administration of radiopharmaceuticals (specialized drugs tagged with radioactive isotopes) under the supervision of NM Physician. These skilled practitioners operate and handle sophisticated imaging equipment, such as gamma cameras and PET scanners.

Teaching Methodology

Lectures, Practicals, on-site trainings, seminars, Journal clubs, full library assess, digital pedagogy and problem-based learning.

Assessment

The program is spread over two years.

Three internal examination followed by the university examination in an academic year.

Written and practical examinations.

Pass with minimum 50% marks per paper.

Minimum 75% attendance required to appear for university examination.
