Yoga Practice Hall (Main Facility Area)

The Centre for Yoga, Wellness & Integrative Medicine houses a spacious and well-ventilated Yoga Practice Hall designed to accommodate group and individual sessions. The hall is centrally located within the campus, ensuring easy accessibility for students, faculty, and visitors. It is structured to promote a calm and serene environment essential for yogic practices.The flooring is designed to support asana practice, ensuring safety and comfort. Natural light and proper ventilation enhance the sattvic ambience, which is conducive to both physical and meditative practices. The hall is regularly used for daily yoga sessions, workshops, and therapeutic interventions.

Yoga Mats (60+ Units)

The centre is equipped with more than 60 good-quality yoga mats to facilitate group practice sessions. These mats are made of non-slip material ensuring safety during various asanas. The availability of a large number of mats allows simultaneous participation of multiple practitioners, making it suitable for classes, workshops, and training programs. The mats are regularly sanitized and maintained to ensure hygiene.

Yoga Belts (10 Units)

Yoga belts are essential props used to enhance flexibility and assist practitioners in achieving correct posture alignment. The centre provides 10 yoga belts, which are used especially in beginner and therapeutic sessions. They help in deep stretching, improving posture, and reducing the risk of injury.

Yoga Bricks (10 Units)

The centre includes 10 yoga bricks that serve as supportive tools in asana practice. These bricks help practitioners maintain balance and proper alignment, especially in standing and balancing poses. They are made of durable and lightweight material, ensuring ease of use. Yoga bricks are widely used in therapeutic yoga sessions where modifications are necessary.

Yoga Bolsters (10 Units)

The centre provides 10 yoga bolsters (referred to as "boasters") used primarily in restorative and therapeutic yoga practices. These bolsters offer support and comfort during relaxation poses such as Śavāsana and Supta Baddha Koṇāsana. They are particularly beneficial for stress relief, relaxation, and recovery practices.

Meditation Chairs (10 Units)

The centre is equipped with 10 meditation chairs designed to support proper spinal alignment during meditation practices. These chairs are especially useful for individuals who find it difficult to sit on the floor for extended periods.

Yoga Chairs (10 Units)

The centre includes 10 yoga chairs which are used for chair yoga and assisted asana practice. These chairs are particularly beneficial for senior citizens, beginners, and individuals undergoing rehabilitation. Chair yoga allows safe execution of postures with support, reducing the risk of injury.

Trataka Stands (4 Units)

The centre is equipped with 4 Trataka stands used for the yogic cleansing practice of Trataka (steady gazing). These stands hold candles or focal points at eye level to facilitate concentration and improve visual focus. Trataka is an important kriya that enhances mental clarity, concentration, and eye health. The stands are designed for stability and ease of use during both individual and group sessions.
