Mr. Abhishek Jadaun is an experienced academic and healthcare management professional currently serving as the Director – Admissions at Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology (MGUMST), Jaipur, and Academic Coordinator at the MG Institute of Health Informatics, MGUMST. He has extensive experience in higher education, academic administration, health informatics, digital health, telemedicine, curriculum development, and healthcare workforce development.
He is a former Assistant Professor at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He also serves as the Nodal Officer for the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 at MGUMST.
In his academic and administrative roles, Mr. Jadaun has been instrumental in the development and implementation of new academic programs, curriculum design, teaching-learning initiatives, and skill-oriented programs in Health Informatics and allied health sciences. As Director – Admissions, he is actively involved in strategic admission planning, student outreach, career counselling, and initiatives aimed at strengthening student enrolment and institutional growth.
He has served as a resource person in various capacity-building and training programs, including Health Information Management and related training initiatives conducted by the Central Bureau of Health Intelligence (CBHI), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
His professional interests include Health Informatics, Digital Health, Health Information Management, Telemedicine, Healthcare Technology, Academic Innovation, and Healthcare Workforce Development. He is associated with professional organizations including the Telemedicine Society of India and the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth.
