BPT – Bachelor of Physiotherapy

1. Objectives of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course which is complementary to medicine are to allow the students:
a) to acquire adequate knowledge of basic medical subjects and to develop skill and techniques of therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy and soft tissue manipulation so as to work as a rehabilitation team member & coordinate with other team members to provide physiotherapeutic management of various medical and surgical conditions of patients.
b) to acquire skills in management, research and teaching in physiotherapy as well as guidance and counseling of patients regarding physiotherapy.
c) to acquire proper attitude for compassion and concerns for patients and welfare of physically challenged handicapped in the community.
d) to practice moral and ethical values and evidence base practice with regard to physiotherapy.

Infrastructural Strength

The College is housed in an impressive building with all modern facilities. All Departments are fully operational having well furnished infrastructure with all modern facilities.

Mahatma Gandhi Physiotherapy College is duly approved by the Govt. of Rajasthan and Mahatma Gandhi university of Medical Science & Technology.

The duration of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course (B.P.T.) is (4) four year academic plus (6) six months compulsory rotatory internship.

English is the medium of instructions for all subjects of study and for examinations of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree Course.

1.Candidate should have passed 10+2 (12th standard) or equivalent examination with science stream i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 45% marks for general candidate and 40% marks for SC/ST candidate.
2.A candidate should have completed the minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission to B.P.T. degree course.
3.Selection criterion of the candidate shall be on the basis of merit i.e. marks obtained in 10+2.

The total number of admission for BPT course will not be more than 80.

The rule of reservation will be based as per the policies of Rajasthan Government.

The course shall commence from 1st August of every academic year.

No claim or application for migration to other Physiotherapy College shall be entertained from the students admitted to this Institution at any course of time.
In case, any eligibility/equivalent certificate, if required, is not submitted by the candidates within the time limit ascertained, his / her selection for admission to the Physiotherapy course is liable to be cancelled.

Tuition Fee : Rs. 80,000.00 per annum. In addition, student will give cash security / Bank guarantee of 3 years of balance course duration amounting to Rs. 2,40,000.00, at the time of admission.
Caution Money: Rs. 10000.00 (interest free refundable on completion of Course)

• Hostel accommodation is available for all the students.
• Separate hostel for boys and girls are available inside the campus.
• The hostel charges shall be paid in full at the beginning of the year.
• Mess Charges: Before commencement of the academic session, the Mess charges shall be collected annually on sharing basis.
• Hostel accommodation is absolutely compulsory for all the students admitted in BPT Course.
