Welcome to the Health Informatics Program!

Department of Health Informatics & Telemedicine was formed in 2015. Its initial goal is to establish Undergraduate and Postgraduate training in Health Informatics & Telemedicine, and to develop and strengthen the Telemedicine services in state of Rajasthan.
Digital India is an initiative launched by Government of India to ensure that services are made available to citizens electronically by improving online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity.
Healthcare Informatics is a multidisciplinary field that links Health care, Information  technology management sciences and Computer sciences with an ultimate aim to improve the quality and safety of patient care. It is the study of resources and methods for the management of healthcare related data.

• Management Development Programme - ( Hospital Information System, HL7, Telemedicine, ICD-10 Coding, Electronic Patient Records )

• Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing Informatics

(2) Any Graduate or Post Graduate having interest in Medicine and Computers.

(3) Anyone who is in favour of Medical Informatics & ICT use in Medicine and is futuristic.

 

Eligibility for admission:

Pass in any undergraduate program of 3 years duration or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in any science/arts/commerce group. A candidate also must have passed in English (CORE or selective or functional) as a subject of studies in the qualifying examination
OR
Any health science graduate with MBBS/ BAMS/ BHMS or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Selection procedure: Admission to the course shall be made on the basis of eligibility and                                    interview to be conducted for the purpose.

Medium of instruction: English shall be the medium of instruction for all the subjects of study                                        and for examination of the course.

• Management Development Programme - {3-5 days}

• Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing Informatics - {6 months}

• Postgraduate Certificate in Health Informatics- {6 months}

• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Informatics- {1 year}

• Postgraduate Diploma in Health Informatics- {1 year}

• BSc. Health Informatics- {3 years}

 

Medium of instruction:
